Minister of Children and Youth

Andrea Blakeney served as Youth Worker during the summer of 2009 before becoming our Youth and Children's Minister.

If you don't know what fun church can be, you will after you visit VFBC Youth!  Students have the opportunity to learn about the Bible through Bible Studies during FUNdamentals on Wednesdays, (this year's theme: Survivor: Outserve. Outlove. Outlive.), as well as Sunday mornings at Sunday School.  On Sunday nights, the fun begins with worship through music in VFBC's own Youth Praise and Worship at 4:30, followed by a snack supper, Acteens and RAs.  What better way to share what you have learned on Wednesdays and Sundays, than by an awesome Mission Trip to North Carolina this summer!  There is a lot to do before then, service projects, trips to Charleston, skiing, fifth quarters, water parks, VBS, softball tournaments, Game Nights, lock ins and so much more. Let's don't forget about the Christmas lights trip, the Easter egg hunts, trips to the SC Aquarium and Splash in the Boro, as well as the Allendale Hampton Baptist Association events and camps!
